Second day

As part of the workshop's Scandinavian theme, the producer of the extraordinarily successful Swediah supernatural thriller, LET THE RIGHT ONE IN: Carl Molinder, gave a presentation about how the film was developed and produced. The participants, including representatives from the ESCAC Summer School course, were inspired to hear how the film was actually Carl's first feature as a producer, after building up a successful commercials business. He was also able to offer some tips as to how to handle the English re-make rights, which has become such a vital part of a European producer's business plan, as he and his partner are producers on the recently shot US version, retitled LET ME IN.
