Carl Molinder
Swedish television and film producer, Carl graduated from Stockholm University in business and economics. He is one of the founders of production company Efti and CEO since its inception. Efti has produced approximately 500 commercials and television projects such as "Knesset", "Late night with Luuk" and "Ulveson / Herngren". Carl is one of the producers of the feature film "Let the Right One In ', directed by Tomas Alfredson, nominated for the BAFTA Film Award in the category Best Film Not in English Language in 2008.
Rumle Hammerich
Danish film director, screenwriter and film company director. He graduated from the National Film School of Denmark and had his debut as a feature film director in 1983 with the children film Otto er et næsehorn. After working in Sweden in the early 90's, directing films such as the horror film Svart Lucia and the childrens film Kan du vissla Johanna?, he was made director of national Danish television station DR's fiction department in 1994. He then joined Nordisk Film where he led the subsidiary Nordisk Film Produktion until 2003 where he was made creative director of the company. His filmography consists of feature films, TV movies and mini series in Denmark as well as Sweden. His mini series ‘Young Andersen’ won an Emmy Award for Best international TV Movie/Mini Series in 2005.
Svend Abrahamsen
Svend is currently the head of Filmlines at the prestigious National Film School in Denmark. In the past he was executive producer of the infamous first four DOGME productions, founded by Lars Von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, Kristian Levring and Soren Kragh-Jacobsen. This created a whole new movement amongst European filmmakers. Amongst films he was executive produced during this time was CHARLOT AND CHARLOTTE (1-4) and Lars Von Trier’s extraordinary series, THE KINGDOM (1-8). Subsequently he became head of co-production of feature films and TV series at Danmarks Radio, Executive Producer at Magma Films, Ireland, Chief Executive, feature films TV2, Denmark; Managing Director, Nordic Film and TV fund, Norway and producer at Maipo Film, Norway.
Isabel Coixet
Born near Barcelona, Isabel Coixet is one of Spain’s most well-known and internationally acclaimed filmmakers, who has worked with some of the continent’s most high profile acting talent.
Having studied history at the University of Barcelona, Isabel started her career as a journalist. She subsequently entered advertising and set up her own commercials and film production companies. As well as directing features she has continued to make ads, and directed several for the Spanish Socialist party during the 2008 election. She has also collaborated with other artists on an exhibit at the Spanish Pavilion at the 2010 Expo in Shanghai.
Her recent films include My Life Without Me (2003, with Sarah Polley and Mark Ruffalo), The Secret Life of Words (2005, staring Tim Robbins and Sarah Polley) for which she won the Best Director Goya, Elegy (2008, with Penelope Cruz and Sir Ben Kingsley), and her latest work, Map of the Sounds of Tokyo (2009, with Sergi Lopez).
