"Cairo" is a family drama revolving around a young woman in the middle of her twenties, born and raised in Denmark with a Middle Eastern father, a Danish mother and a chaotic younger brother. Her parents have tried to raise the young woman and her brother so they would grow up and become Danes, in order to cope in Danish society -where the majority of the population unfornutately believes that being a Muslim equals fundamemtalism and oppression. The young woman witnesses how her brother gradually distances himself from the Danish society, seeking identity in the Islamic lifestyle -which they father flew from. This results in a conflict within the family, and it becomes the young woman´s task to build bridges between the divided parts.
During a rape, David´s wife Laura ends up in a coma. Full of rage and hatred David decides to bring the people who did it to justice. David soon finds himself mixed up in the criminal underworld of prostitutes and porn. Little my little, David discovers that the rape incident is not as it seems.
Martin, 34, young and ambitious head of the creative department in an advertising company, receives the task to carry out an advertising campaign promoting "Happiness" in order to persuade one of "the unhappiest nations in Europe" that life is not as bad as it seems. Martin heads into difficulties not only in the office but also in his personal lie -his family and all the people he cares about leave him. Martin realizes that even if he were to make the nation happier, this would not make him feel any better. Meanwhile, the Bulgarian nation becomes even unhappier because it is the first time that people have started to contemplate on what they want and whether they are getting it.
On a shore, a group of drunken sailors mock and harass a stranger by saying he´s as ugly as the devil. Unseen, the stranger follows them on the boat. The following day at open sea the crew discovers the presence of the strange man, who now claims to be the son of God. The sailors tie him up until the next port. As days go by, the stranger manages to persuade the crew members, one by one, about his supernatural origin. Afraid, the sailors decide to change the course of the boat and surrender the stranger to the authorities. The latter manipulates the steersman, who is the only man from the crew who believes in him, to sacrifice the others in order to prove his faith and redeem himself among the other unbelievers. In spite of his inner conflict the steersman decides to commit to the murder. After the deed is done the steersman calls for the stranger. One of the ship´s boats is missing and the steersman realizes he´s the only man left alive on the boat. With the steersman in shock, the boat comes closer and closer to the shore.
After graduating from film school, Matt imagines a successful future, but instead finds himself trapped, making popcorn in a cinema, partying, wasting time in banal conversations with his workmates, and stuck in a relationship that isn´t going anywhere. Everything starts to change when his ex-girlfriend Zoë suddenly returns from a long and successful Erasmus experience and Matt realizes he is still in love with her. She now has a new boyfriend who´s everything Matt always wanted to be. When Matt gets offered the position of popcorn manager at the movie theatre, he realizes that the only way of escaping the limbo he´s stuck in and getting his life back on track, is to fight for the girl he loves hoping to get his stalled career on a move again.
David’s life is about to take a 360 degree turn but is still unaware of it. The only thing he knows is that he is definitely not looking foward to Christmas this year. They are inflicted with a lethal desease which originates from the chemical reaction of fire balls, and have one and sole mission: to spread the virulent infection. They transform the normal human being into a vicious creature with evil feature and diabolic eyes in less than six hours after being bitten.
David is about to begin, along with his father and younger brother, a long journey towards salvation and reconciliation. It will be a journey where he will meet other survivors, a journey in which he will learn to forgive and to love his father again.
A trip abroad for the chorus of the KAPI (an old people´s home) will be the beginning of change for our three characters -Athina, Katina and Toula. Three old ladies will have to confront various adventures, their dreams and beliefs, fears and preoccupations. In a nutshell, they´ll have to confront themselves.

Trying to solve the mystery of her past, Krista gets involved in dangerous scenes of jealousy, mad runaway, unwanted sex between them three, and almost gets killed. Finally Krista manages to get out of the love triangle and get her identity back.
"Fugue" tells the story of a woman who loses her memory. Found at Warsaw Central Station, she doesn't know who she is or what her name is. She has to create herself anew: first, by confronting a society that tries to find a place for her and then by confronting herself, her past, the life she left behind and in which she now has to try and function. After returning home she has to face up to a secret that answers the question of why her loved ones didn't look for her. As she continues to regain her memory so she increasingly comes to disown her life, and the person she once was.
Autumn. London, the present. A serial killer haunts the city. The ebb reveals his morbid art: bloodless female bodies skilfully positioned like marble sculptures in the river mud.
JULES (30s, single, restoration expert in a local museum) has just moved to a new flat in the city. Outgoing and cheerful on the surface, she struggles internally with the meaningless of human existence and her own in particular. When she is assigned to organise an exhibition on the subject of death and beauty in art, her faint depression turns into a secret and romantic obsession with death and suicide. Turning more and more into a loner, she is loosing herself in her longing for death.
The circumstances shift when a chance encounter with GABRIEL (40s), a mysterious stranger in a local coffee shop triggers her interest. Seemingly accidental, their paths keep crossing and she starts a subtle cat-and-mouse-game to find out more about Gabriel who increasingly draws her into his strange and bizarre world. Fascinated with his captivating and intriguing personality, she falls for him, finally feeling alive.
Torn between her yearnings for life and/or death and her growing passion for Gabriel, Jules is dragged into a maelstrom of events as the circumstances start to indicate that he could be the killer. Electrified by the ambiguity of the situation and the danger and potential of death it does not cross her mind to go to the police. Yet, as the murders continue and she realises that she is part of the game and has never been the ‘cat’ but the ‘mouse’, her fascination finally turns to fear. In the end, she has to choose either life or death- or both.
